Download Microsoft Components

Import Wizard 7 and 8 require the following Microsoft components. These components are pre-installed on most Windows systems. If you get an error message during install or while running Import Wizard, please download and install the appropriate component(s).

Download VB6 Runtime from microsoft.com
Download and install this file if you get an "The dynamic link library MSVBVM60.DLL could not be found in the specified path ..." error message upon starting Import Wizard 7. This file installs the Microsoft VB6 runtime component.
 
Download MDAC from microsoft.com
Download Jet 4.0 from microsoft.com
Download and install these files if you get an "E012: Database connection failed." error message when you start an import. These files install Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC) and the Microsoft Jet Database Engine. These files are installed as part of MS-Office 2000 or XP. If you get the above error message either you do not have MS-Office 2000 or XP installed, or the components were damaged. In either case, downloading the and installing the components should fix the problem.
 
Download VB5 Runtime
Import Wizard 6 or earlier requires Visual Basic 5 Runtime (MSVBVM50.DLL) and data access components, these components are installed on most computers. If you're missing these files you can and install them.
