| Download Import Wizard Components
Import Wizard requires a couple Microsoft components that are not included in the distribution because these components are pre-installed on most Windows systems. If you are missing one of these components you can find the download links on this page.

Problem: "A required .DLL file, MSVBVM50.DLL was not found." error message upon starting Import Wizard 6.
Solution: Download and install the Microsoft VB5 runtime component.

Problem: "The dynamic link library MSVBVM60.DLL could not be found in the specified path ..." error message upon starting Import Wizard 7.
Solution: Download and install the Microsoft VB6 runtime component.

Problem: "E012: Database connection failed." error message in Import Wizard Pro (6 or 7) when you start an import.
Solution: Import Wizard Pro uses Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC) in combination with the Jet Database Engine. These files are installed as part of MS-Office 2000 or XP. If you get the above error message either you do not have MS-Office 2000 or XP installed, or the components were damaged. In either case, downloading the and installing the components should fix the problem.
