Zapier + Beside: Send call events and AI notes to any app automatically

Zapier + Beside: Send call events and AI notes to any app automatically
Why integrate Zapier with Beside
If your stack supports it, Beside can reach it.
How it works
Beside exposes triggers for calls, voicemails, voice memos, voice notes, and texts. Payloads include caller identity, whether the person is new or returning, AI summary, transcript links, and timestamps.
Features
- Triggers for all 5 event types
- Pass AI summaries, transcripts, and caller IDs
- Build automations for follow ups and reporting
- Flexible filters and routing
How to connect this app
Beside uses Zapier to connect with this app and hundreds of others.
- 1
Download Beside
Install Beside on iOS or Android. Integrations are managed from the mobile app.
- 2
Open Zapier in Beside
Go to Settings โ Connected Integrations โ Zapier. Tap Connect Zapier.
- 3
Choose the app you want to connect
Zapier will open in your browser. Search for the app you want to connect and select it. Tap Get started to begin creating your workflow.
- 4
Set up your workflow
In Zapier, choose a Beside trigger (like a new call, voicemail, or message) and choose an action in the app you selected. You can map fields like caller identity, AI summary, owner, and follow-up date.
- 5
Turn it on
Once your Zap is live, new Beside events will automatically sync to the connected app. That's it โ no manual exports, no duplicated work.
Why shops connect Zapier
The missed call is not a Zapier problem. It is a phone problem. Beside picks up, qualifies, and books. Zapier is where the record should live if your team already starts the day there. Connecting them means the first conversation of a job is not trapped in voicemail.
Owners usually connect Zapier after the line is live, not before. Get one week of summaries in Beside, then turn on the sync so you are not piping test calls into production records.
If Zapier is your CRM, send new contacts and the next step. If it is chat or dispatch, send the summary and the phone number. See CRM, AI Receptionist, and the rest of integrations.
Beside answers the call, writes a summary, and can send the contact, transcript, or a follow-up into Zapier. You keep using Zapier as the system of record if that is already how the shop runs.
No. The phone stays in Beside. Zapier keeps the records you already live in. The point of the integration is that nobody retypes the call.
No. Beside has its own inbox, contacts, and summaries. Connect Zapier when you want the call to land next to the rest of the book of business.
Most connections go through Zapier or a native link and take a few minutes after the Beside line is live. If a native Zapier connection is marked coming soon, the Zapier path still works.
Start with new contacts and the call summary. Add transcripts and booking times once that is stable. Junk fields create junk CRM.
